How to Wear a Self-Makeup for an Evening Party

Make-upA party is an occasion where you get a chance to shine, no matter what age you are. But at times when you opt to wear a self-makeup you may find yourself ending with nothing other than a mess. You can get yourself ready for any party during the day time or at night by just following 8 simple steps:

Start up with a moisturizer:

Before wearing any cosmetics on your skin spray clean with water and then start up with a moisturizer. Dot your forehead, nose and cheeks with moisturizer and massage in circular motion to cover the entire face. This could prevent skin dryness which may cause your makeup to flake off.

Blend out with a Primer:

The next step is to prepare your skin for the concealer and foundation with primer. Using the best primer you could fill out skin imperfections and also extend the wear time of your makeup. This will also reduce oiliness, leaving your skin smooth and bright.

A concealer could help you hide all your skin blemishes and redness. Pat it gently under the eyes with your fingers and also blend (don’t rub) it over the skin to even out the redness over your face and neck. This will give you a flawless appearance instantly.

Even out skin tone with Foundation:

Selecting a foundation color that matches your natural skin tone is the most tedious job in a self-makeup. First apply dots of foundation using finger tips and then spread it over the face and neck using wet sponges or foundation brushes. The key thing with a foundation is blending; blend it well or else you’ll look like a clown in the party.

Give your eyes a gorgeous look:

Eye make-upEye make-over is the most important part of your makeup; in fact you can make it more attractive and bold for an evening party. Use wax based pencils that match your brows color to fill-in sparse brows. As you have covered your under eye circles with concealer, go ahead with 3 similar colors of eye-shadow that matches your costume. Get down to your lashes with a dark shade, followed by a medium one in the middle and finally with a light shadow near the eyebrows. This would give you a variety-look. Now line-up your upper lids with a liquid liner, and a pencil liner or kohl for the lower lids. Finish it off with few sweeps of mascara from the root of lashes. You can also use false lashes to get an even more natural look.

Blush your cheeks pink:

When you are done with your basic makeup and eyes, have a blush up to highlight your pinkish cheeks. Brush it over the apples in small circles as gentle as you can to give a perfect glow.

wearing lipstickMake your lips glow:

Once you’ve made up with the face, play on your lips. Use lip liners to draw an outline and then fill it up with a dark lip color. Take care not to press or roll your lips. To make it even glossier apply a coat of lip gloss.

Wow! You are ready for the party now.

Penguin 2.1 recovery – How it affects a website and how to recover from it?

Penguin, Google’s algorithmic penalty initially launched in 24th April 2012 aims at hitting website rankings gained through (Black hat) web spams. It looked only at the homepages of offending sites. This algorithm was updated and extended as penguin 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 with slight improvement and then Penguin 2.0 so called as the ”next generation change” was introduced on 22nd May, 2013 which impacted 2.3% of search queries. It was designed to effectively crawl internal sites and identify manipulative links and on-page spams. Penguin 2.1, the fifth edition of Google’s algorithm update unleashed on October 4, 2013, affects 1% of the search queries. It is a filter that fits into Google’s humming bird algorithm.

Google Penguin update

Google algorithms insist that the main focus of search engine optimization should be on user-experience and not link building. Penguin 2.1 is said to have a greater impact than its forerunners. It is meant to attack sites spamming Google’s search results by accumulating unnatural backlinks. These websites would experience a heavy drop in traffic. Penguin 2.1 identifies newer link spams like forum spam, forum bio spam, “do follow” blogs, blog roll spam, spammy directories, blog content signature spam, content duplication. Using anchor texts that exactly match your keywords is dangerous according to the latest update.

How to recover?

Penguin is an automated process. Hence it is a bit difficult to recover from its penalty until you remove what penguin considers as bad. Getting blogs, researching local keyword universe, guest posting, building testimonials and displaying history of the firm/site, structuring a glossary of industrial terms used in the website and giving stuff away are good practices regarding this cutting-edge artic bird algorithm. The first step to recovery is link pruning which requires multiple cycles. Diagnose and identify the nasty inbound links and anchor texts and send request to the owners of the backlinks to remove those links. If they don’t turn to you then communicate with Google.

To recover from Google penguin remove as many offending back links and disavow them using Google’s Disavow tool. Creating quality content which is worth linking to will automatically earn backlinks to your website. Google’s distinguished engineer Matt cuts says that Starting with a fresh site is the ultimate solution to webmasters if their site has not been recovered even after cleaning up spams. Set goal as to fulfill the three pillars of SEO namely Content, Links and Social Media. Auditing your links periodically and building good contents adds revenue to your website ranking and thus your site can be saved from being penalized by penguin.
